CBD and Your Health
The first question many ask when it comes to CBD is:
What is it? And, How does it work?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of the dozen non-psychoactive cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. The hemp plant itself produces over 100 types of cannabinoids! The two main cannabinoids you have most likely heard of are:
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - Related to the Marijuana flower)
Cannabidiol (CBD - Related to the Cannabidiol flower)
The hemp plant is known all over the world as a 'Sacred Plant' and has been used for the last 5,000 years:
Chinese have been using hemp/cannabis plants since 2737 BC, where Emperor Shen Nung documented that it relieved his pain and dietary issues.
Anthropologist found cannabis pollen in the tomb of Egyptian King Ramses II, who died in 1213 BC
In India the plant is considered sacred and to this day is used in rituals, spiritual ceremonies, and health practices since 1400 BC
The hemp plant and its by-products have slowly been replacing deadly, addictive drugs for patients of all ages. Studies show CBD is 10x more powerful than Morphine and 30x more powerful than Aspirin for pain relief. With western medicine costs skyrocketing, the actual results and side effects of western medicine are getting worse. Most prescription drugs are dangerous and addictive; Even common over the counter pain relievers have been shown to cause heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots.
There are dozens of other natural pain relievers that work great but the only problem is that they often only address one kind of pain. For example, Turmeric only addresses joint pain. Same goes for other tinctures, oils, and herbs that claim to ease only ONE kind of pain or another. That's where CBD really shines. CBD has been shown to relieve many of the most common and hardest to treat types of pain in the world.
